MP Assembly elections in due time--Shivraj Singh
Jaipur, Sep 29 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan today said the assembly elections would be held in due time in his state next year and the ruling BJP would stage an impressively comeback to the power.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Chauhan ruled out possibility of an early election and said MP has been a BJP stronghold and his party would retain the power in the election.
He said leaderhip was not at all an issue in MP BJP and the party would go to the poll unitedly.
''The party's policies and ideology are important and not the individuals and he do not see any problem over issues like leadership'', he said.
He declined to answer questions about former Chief Minister Ms Uma Bharati and her party.
