Law and order deteroriating in MP: Prahlad
Bhopal, Sep 29 (UNI) Bharatiya Janshakti (BJ) General Secretary Prahlad Patel today alleged that the BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh Government had failed to curb increasing criminal activities in the state.
Mr Patel, who is observing fast since September 25 with the objective of exposing alleged corruption in various departments, said criminal activities had increased in the state.
He claimed that 113 incidents of communal violence had taken place during the BJP rule.
Citing statistics from the National Crime Bureau Record Bureau, Mr Patel said 1,89,172 crimes had been registered in the past three-and-half years. During this period, atrocities against SCs, STs and women had increased.
Mr Patel's fast would continue up to October 2.
