Chandigarh, Sep 29 (UNI) Ms Asha Hooda, Vice-Chairperson of Haryana Child Welfare Council and wife of the Chief Minister, today said the blood donors were doing a noble task as the blood donated by them helps in saving other precious lives. Ms Hooda was addressing the people after inaugurating the blood donation camp organised by Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 16 at Chandigarh.
She said that service of blood donors to humanity was extremely valuable because they did not even know whose life would be saved with the blood donated by them. She lauded the efforts of the school for organising such camp which she said would inculcate good habits and moral values among the students. Ms Hooda also inaugurated the Multi-Media Room and web-site of the school.
She said that the people associated with imparting education should be given due recognition and utmost respect as they help in nation building by preparing the next generation.
Ms Hooda also released the school magazine 'Symphony'. Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda was the patron and one of the alumni of this school.
