Jat Mahasabha terms Raje govt "anti-Jat"

Jaipur, Sep 28 (UNI) Rajasthan Jat Mahasabha has called a special meeting of its general body here on September 30 to decide on its future course of action following the alleged''anti-farmer and anti- Jat'' policies of the BJP government in the state.

Addresssing a press conference here today, Jat Mahasabha president Rajaram Meel said the BJP government in the state had become vindictive and hurt the sentiments of the Jats by demolishing a heritage Haveli owned by the community member.

Mr Meel alleged he he was personally being targeted by the government as he always fought for the right of his community and the Jat community was feeling hurt by the action of the government.

He said the Mahasabha would decide on its future course of action at the special session of its general body meeting on September 30 in Jaipur.
