New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) Prakhash Jaju, former PA of film star Priyanka Chopra today withdrew his petition in the Supreme Court, against an MP High Court jugdement dropping criminal proceedings against the actress.
Counsel for the petitioner told the bench comprising Justices CK Thakker and Altamas Kabir that he wanted to withdraw his petition and the court allowed him to do so.
Jaju has filed a criminal complaint against Priyanka Chopra and her father Ashok Chopra for a threatening him to stop demanding his dues from the actress.
Judicial Magistrate Indore had issued summons to the actress and her father. Both went to the High Court for quashing the proceeding pending at Indore.
The High Court gave a clean chit to the actress but dismissed the petition of her father.
Priyanka filed a caveat in the Supreme Court praying that no relief should be granted to the petitioner without hearing her.
According to the sources, the dispute between the two has been settled.
