MAHORE, Sep 28 (UNI) Continuing with the people-friendly Operation Sadbhavana, the Army today dedicated another hostel for the students of remote area of this tehsil in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Lieutenant General TK Sapru, General Officer Commanding, 16 Corps, inaugurated 'Sadbhavana Hostel' and dedicated it to the people of the area to accommodate 50 children. The hostel boasts of modern construction and high-tech amenities within.
Lieutenant General TK Sapru, GOC 16 Corps, while outlining the contribution of Uniform Force in the development of the area highlighted the positive impact of Operation Sadbhavana on the local populace.
The Uniform Force had made an outstanding contribution in the holistic upliftment of Mahore Tehsil, Lt Gen Sapru applauded.
Earlier while presiding over the function, Major General PC Panjikar, General Officer Commanding Uniform Force said that the yeoman service done by Army as part of Operation Sadbhavana had transformed the environment from one of 'Terror, Devastation and Destruction' to that of 'Freedom, Fearlessness and Development'.
