Seoni, MP, Sep 28 (UNI) The Gondwana Gantantra Party (GGP), a Madhya Pradesh-based political party, espousing the cause of tribals, has launched 'Gondwana Sankranti Andolan' to highlight the tribals' exploitation and negligence.
''Tribals are being exploited in every sphere and they are being deprived of livelihood means from ''Jal-Jangal-Jameen'' (water, forest and land)'', said GGP President Heera Singh Markam at a rally as part of the agitation here yesterday.
Mr Markam said labourers, farmers and tribals were caught in the cobweb of the 'exploitative' forest laws. Corruption had increased at every level after independence and no government had so far taken tribals' problems seriously.
''Suspension of Paraswada MLA Darbu Singh from the party will not affect the party's interests. GGP did all preparations in view of forthcoming assembly election'', Mr Markam added.
