Weather remains cool in Delhi
New Delhi, Sep 27 (UNI) For the third consecutive day today, clouds and Northwesterly winds continued to bring in coolness to the weather in Delhi.
Clouds, which enveloped the skyline for most part of the day, and cool North Westerlies kept the maximum temperature four degrees below normal at 29.7 degrees Celsius.
The minimum also remained at 23.4 degrees C, the normal temperature at this time of the year.
For the second day in sucession, the capital recieved light rains early in the morning. About 0.5 mm of rainfall was recorded till 0830 hrs.
The coolness in the air is likely to remain for the next couple of days with the weatherman forecasting more rain or thundershowers in the coming two to three days.
The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with possibility of rain or thundershowers in a few areas.
