Vaishya community to hold social harmony meet in Gurgaon

Jaipur, Sep 27 (UNI) In a bid to strengthen social harmony, Akhil Bharatiya Vaishya Mahasammelan, the national confederation of Vaishya community organisations, will organise an all sect congregation in Gurgaon on October 2.

The confederation President Ramdas Agrawal told reporters here today that about 50,000 people of Vaishya, Dalits and other backward classes (OBCs) from different states, including Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh would participate in the congregation.

Mr Agrawal said galaxy of dignitaries, including Art of Living propounder Sri Ravishankarji Maharaj, ministers, MPs and MLAs from different states would address the congregation.

He said the organisation would also felicitate three social workers from Dalit class and one social worker from PBCs for their outstanding services to the society.

Mr Agrawal said similar programmes would later be organised at the state level too.
