TDP demands nine-hours of free power for farmers
Hyderabad, Sep 27 (UNI) The Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today demanded that the state government provide nine hours of uninterrupted free power supply to the agricultural sector.
Talking to newspersons, after TDP politburo meeting here, TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu said his party would provide nine hours of uninterrupted free power supply to farmers if they come back to power in the next Assembly election.
He alleged that the government was alloting houses under 'Indiramma Housing' programme to only Congress workers in the state.
The TDP would take steps to close down illegal wine shops in the state, he said and alleged that the government had failed to control the flourishing illegal wine shops.
He alleged that the government was alloting lands to influential people and was selling prime government lands.
