Panchayat sevak sent to jail
Patna, Sep 27 (UNI) Special vigilance judge of Patna S K Panwar today remanded a 'panchayat sevak' to judicial custody till October ten in a bribery case.
Accused Mithilesh Kumar Sharma, panchayat sevak of Moriyama and Gangapur Talpa block under Bikram police station of the district, was today produced by the vigilance officials before the designated judge under corruption charge.
He was arrested by vigilance sleuths while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 in the name of auditing the village panchayat project on September 26 at Bikram bazar.
