Chennai, Sep 27 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in the Tamil Nadu Assembly and AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa today reiterated her demand for the dismissal of the DMK Government in the wake of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's critical remarks on Lord Ram.

In an interview to Times Now TV, she denied that she was not as vocal as the BJP on the Ramsethu issue and said she was not a member of the Sangh Parivar and the AIADMK had no alliance with the BJP.

''I am very vocal about it. I had issued a number of statements condemning Mr Karunanidhi's remarks and had demanded that a FIR to be filed against him under IPC sections...We are demanding his resignation or else the DMK Ministers should be sacked from the Union Cabinet and the Centre should dismiss the DMK Government,'' she said.

It may be recalled here that the AIADMK had staged demonstrations in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, New Delhi and Andaman and Nicobar Islands yesterday, demanding the sacking of the DMK Government. Ms Jayalalithaa had led the agitation at Udhagamandalam in Nilgiris district.

On forging alliance with the BJP, Ms Jayalalithaa said the AIADMK was not in a hurry to forge alliances. ''The situation is fluid. I cannot comment anything on alliance at the moment.'' The question of alliance would be discussed and decided only at the time of elections, she added.

Refusing to go into the reported rift among the partners of the newly-formed United National Progressive Alliance (UNPA), she said ''I don't want to answer this at this point of time.'' UNI
