Rajkot, Sep 26 (UNI) In present lifestyle, Yoga is the solution to any type of halth problem, girl students of Dev Sanskrti Vishwavidyalaya of Yogic Science Department claimed.
The four students -- Dimple Soni, Raina Bisht, Pragya Mishra and Krishna Mehta -- came here from Haridwar for an internship programme and visited several schools and colleges to spread awareness about the benefits of Yoga that include developing intuition, sharpening the intellect, enhancing memory, increased clarity and a blossoming of creativity in one's life.
Speaking to UNI Raina Bisht of Uttranchal, who has completed MSc in Human Consciousness and Yogic Science, said 'Asana' works on physical level to mind level while 'Pranayama' works on 'Prana' level to mind level. Basically both are two different steps of Yoga, she informed. Yoga has eight different steps such as Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi, she added.
''The objective of the Dev Sanskriti Vishavidyalaya is to develop awareness and provide health benefits to the common-man and train the students and promote new researches in this field,'' Bisht said.
Earlier, they had also visited Gandhidham, Vadodara and Ankleshwar to inspire and motivate the masses towards holistic health through Yoga. Under the aegis of Gayatri Pariwar, the girl students had also organised camps for the awareness of Yoga among the masses at Gitanjali here.
