Two fishermen swept away

Eluru, Sep 26 (UNI) The bodies of two fishermen were fished out from a drain at Chinakapavaram in Akividu mandal of West Godavari district today.

Police said Tirumani Nagabhushanam (22) and V Prasad (18) had ventured into drain last night for fishing. But they did not return.

Later, the relatives of fishermen searched and traced the bodies.

Police said the fishrmen might have drowned.

The bodies were sent to government hospital at Bhimavaram for post-mortem.
