TVS tyres launches "terrific trio" for Eastern india

Bhubaneswar, Sep 26 (UNI) The TVS Tyres of TVS group launched the three new technology tyres called the ''Terrific Trio'' for the Eastern India at a function here today.

Describing the new technology absolutely revolutionary and first of its kind in the country, TVS Tyres Executive Vice-President (Operation and Marketing) S Balasubramanian said the new technology would give the Indian two wheeler rider a greater safety and increased control over rough Indian roads.

He said the puncture resistant tubeless tyre, the Anaconda Dual Treat technology and the PolyX-polyster fabric tyres, launched today for the eastern region, will bring the Indian market the country's first puncture resistant tubeless tyres for two wheelers.

Mr Balasubramanian said these tyres, an innovation to mark a mile stone in the history of two wheeler industry, were especially designed for the Indian roads where frequent punctures were common.

He said the company has been producing 11 million tyres per year out of which 1.5 million tyres were exported mostly to the European countries.

The Executive Vice-President said with a sales turnover of Rs 468 crores last year the Company has set a target of Rs 568 turnover this year and decided to go for the puncture resistant tubeless tyres for motorcycles, cars and trucks in another two years.
