New York, Sep 26 (UNI) From Nehru to Narayana Murthy, three scores of prominent Indians figure in book titled Limca Book of Records- India Extraordinaire, 60 Years and 60 Luminaries, released by Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath here.
The release of the book coincided with the ongoing celebrations marking the country's 60th Independence Day anniversary.
Coca-Cola India was also part of the unveiling ceremony of the 152-page books that covers 13 areas such as medical science, literature, entertainment, defense and sports.
Nath said at the Tatas-owned Pierre Hotel in Manhattan, ''India is a land where people dare to dream and have a story to tell... I consider the book as a tribute to this great country.'' Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Rabindranath Tagore, Kishore Kumar, J R D Tata and N R Narayana Murthy were among the people that figured in the book.
