LJP prepared for mid-term poll: Paswan
Patna, Sep 26 (UNI) Lok Janshakti Party(LJP) president and Union Chemicals and Fertiliser Minister Ramvilas Paswan today said his party was prepared for the mid-term poll.
Mr Paswan told newspersons here that though his party was ready for the election, he was personally in favour that the Lok Sabha should complete its five-year term.
Mr Paswan evolved formulas for completion of the term and said to avoid mid-term poll the party could move a no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister and any party wishing to make Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee or someone else the Prime Minister, provision could be made to move a motion of confidence for the purpose.
Mr paswan lambasted at the Nitish Kumar government for the ''deteriorating'' law and order situation.
The Minister said his party would convene a ''Chetavni'' rally against the Nitish Kumar government in Patna on November 28 and also to show the party's strength.
He said the organisational election would be completed by December 15 and more than 15 lakh people had so far accepted the primary membership of the LJP in Bihar.
To a query, Mr Paswan reiterated his commitment for reopening the closed factories of Barauni and Sindri. He further said the UPA was united on the issue of nuclear deal with the US to meet the requirements of power.
