DLF to set up its second IT Park in Kolkata

New Delhi, Sep 26 (UNI) Realty major DLF Ltd today said it will develop its second IT park in Kolkata with an investment of about Rs 700 crore, thus generating 40,000 direct or indirect jobs.

The park, spread on 25 acres of land offering 2.5 million square feet of IT/ITES workspace, will be developed in phases.

The first phase is expected to get operational by the year-end or early next year. It would cater to all the international and national IT/ITES companies, a statement said.

''With a succession of our first fully leased and operational IT Park in Kolkata, we have seen the inclination towards the city froth many IT/ITES companies and believe that our upcoming IT Park will become an important part of the new IT Corridor at New Town Rajarhat,'' DLF Commercial Developers Ltd Chairman AS Minocha said.

The IT Park will present an ultramodern integrated Tech City that offers a moderm workspace and is fully-equipped to operate any IT/ITES major 24X7. It will offer developed workspace clubbed with serviced apartments, retail and recreational.
