Ahmedabad, Sept 26 (UNI) A local court has set October 4 for hearing on the application moved by CID (Crime), seeking narco analysis and brain mapping tests on 13 personnel of Gujarat&Rajasthan Anti-Terrorist Squads (ATS) for their alleged involvement in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case.

Additional City Session Court Judge A G Urazee today set the hearing on October 4 of the application moved by CID (Crime) seeking narco analysis test for suspended police officials, including Gujarat ATS Chief D G Vanzara.

In the application, the CID has stated these police officials were not cooperating in the investigation and narco analysis was required to get the correct facts in the case.

The other officials on whom the narco tests have been demanded are Rajkumar Pandyan, N K Amind, Dinesh M N, N H Dabhi, Santram Sharma, Ajay Parmar, N V Chauhan, Balkrishna Choubey, M L Parmar, Abdul Rehman, Himanshu and Shyam.

These 13 policemen, including three IPS ranked officials, were arrested in the sensational case in which ATS teams of Gujarat and Rajasthan allegedly murdered Sohrabuddin and eliminated his wife Kausar Bi in Ahmedabad in year-2005.

The case is now being investigated by CID Crime under the direct Supreme Court. The Gujarat government took this step after the apex court pulled up the government for its handling of the case last month.
