Air Deccan to start additional Kolkata-Jamshedpur flight by Nov
Jamshedpur, Sep 26 (UNI) Air Deccan, which completed a month's service from Kolkata to Jamshedpur today, is likely to introduce an additional morning flight from November this year.
The air carrier had launched its Kolkata-Jamshedpur flight (DN-585) on August 26 to mark the Centenary celebrations of Tata Steel.
Air Deccan presently operates a daily flight in each direction, deploying an ATR aircraft to serve this route.
Deccan Aviation Executive Director G R Gopinath, the beginning of air connectivity here helped the company create another great market for air travel.
''In past one month, the flight has received an overwhelming response here. About 2,000 passengers have availed the service here so far,'' he said.
