Agricultural market panel chief suspended
Hyderabad, Sep 26 (UNI) Hyderabad Agricultural Market Committee Chairman B Chinna Reddy has been suspended for three months for irregularities allegedly committed by him.
In a statement here, Agriculture and Cooperation Department Principal Secretary Pankaj Dwivedi said the Commissioner and Director of Agriculture Marketing had submitted an interim report to the government on the allegations levelled against Mr Reddy by the AP Grain and Seeds Merchants Association.
The state government suspended Mr Reddy with immediate effect under Section 6(A) of Andhra Pradesh (Produce and Livestock) Market Act, pending an inquiry into the matter.
