6 abducted rescued
Lucknow, Sep 26 (UNI) Police today rescued six people, including two railway officials, from the clutches of their abductors in Etwa area of Chitrakoot district of Uttar Pradesh.
Chained Mithilesh, Srinivas, Bhaiyan, Ballu, railway officials Rameshwar and Rambeta were freed from an abandoned hut near in the jungles adjoining the district.
The accused, however, managed to flew the coop.
On September 21, notorious Dwarika gang members had kidnapped six people at the Etwa Railway Station.
A hunt to nab the abductors was on.
