Floods leaves residents with water shortage

2007:
After
the
second
spell
of
floods
in
less
than
a
month
across
parts
of
Bangladesh,
the
low
lying
areas
near
the
capital
Dhaka
are
still
submerged.
The current floods have forced over half a million out of their homes and have left residents with a shortage of clean drinking water. Villagers from Trimohoni, near Dhaka, had to collect buckets of water from a broken water supply line.
