Two killed in road accident in TN

Tiruchirapalli, Sep 25: Two people were killed and three seriously injured in multiple collision involving two vans and a two-wheeler at Thirueangoemalai village near here last night.

Police said the mishap occured when the driver of a van while trying to avoid hitting a two-wheeler rammed into another van coming in the opposite direction.

The deceased were identified as van driver Sakthivel and Marimuthu, pillion rider of the motorcycle.

The injured were admitted to the Government Headquarters Hospital here, police added.
