Space Museum to be open to public in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 25: The Space Museum of the ISRO at Thumba here will be open for public from October 4 to 9 in connection with World Space Week celebrations.

A release issued by the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) said today that admission would be with entry passes issued in advance.

Visitors on October 7 could also witness a rocket launch.

As part of the World space Week celebrations, VSSC would be organising a painting competition for students from Class one to ten at St.Mary's Higher Secondary School auditorium, Pattom on October 7.

The subject for High School level is 'Space Colonisation' and for Upper Primary school level is 'Future Vehicles for Space Transportation' and for others there is no specific subject.
