J&K Chief Minister hails Team India on their feat

R S Pura, Sep 25 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi azad today congratulated Team India on becoming the Twenty20 World Champions beating Pakistan in a nail biting final at Johannesburg.

During his visit to this town near Indo-Pak border, Mr Azad made a special mention of the final match played between the arch rivals of the sub-continent yesterday.

The Chief Minister also congratulated skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his team mates for the spectacular victory and said, ''The cool with which Indian cricketers played the game despite several lows and highs saw them winning the maiden Twenty20 Cricket World Cup.'' The players have done pride to the country, Mr azad added.

He also wished them best of luck for the ensuing tournaments.
