Jharkhand government to confer first "J'khand Ratna" to Dhoni

Ranchi, Sep 25 (UNI) Team India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni will receive the first ever ''Jharkhand Ratna'' award for his side's spectacular victory against Pakistan in the Twenty20 World Cup final in Johannesburg.

The Jharkhand Government will confer the title to him which would carry a cash award of Rs five lakh and a memento.

Talking to UNI, Deputy Chief Minister Sudhir Mahto today said Dhoni would be conferred with ''Jharkhand Ratna'' on the state's seventh Foudation Day on November 15.

Dhoni would be the first to receive this award, Mr Mahto added.
