Jamuna demands inquiry into fake registry cases
Dhar, MP, Sep 25 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Assembly Opposition Leader Jamuna Devi today held Narmada Valley Development Authority (NVDA) officials responsible for fake registry in submergence-affected areas of the Sardar Sarovar Project.
Talking to reporters here today, Ms Devi alleged that NVDA officials had committed a lot of corruption in the name of rehabilitation and demanded an inquiry into their assets.
More than 100 fake registry cases had come to light in Khargone, Barwani and Dhar districts. The government has taken serious note of the matter and ordered an inquiry into all the cases.
