Chennai, Sep 25 (UNI) The Grand Nirvana Holiday Resort Private Limited today announced the launch of its maiden project in the country, "The Grand Nirvana Lake Resort", a luxurious boutique resort in Kerala.
Located on the banks of the famous Vembanad lake in the picturesque Alappuzha district of Kerala, the God's own land, the unique feature of the resort was all the 30 rooms faced the lake, which spread over 360 sq km, Company Chairman Mr P N Mohan told a press conference here.
Built at a cost of Rs ten crore, the Indo-Colonial type of architecture gives the resort a very majestic look. It had superior rooms, pool deck rooms, junior suites and luxury suits.
A cruising villa, a double decked luxury houseboat was the pride of the resort, he said and added the villa was only one of its kind in the Vembanad lake.
The Company proposed to build boutique resorts in Pune, Udhagamandalam and Puducherry, he said adding the Pune resort would be ready in a year's time and the other two by 2010.
Mr Moahn also announced the launch of membership to the Grand Nirvana Holiday Club, which would allow the members, not only to use the resorts in Kerala and the future developments, but also exchange their holidays in 4,000 resorts worlwide, affiliated with Resort Condominium International (RCI).
