Hyderabad, Sep 24 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president and former union minister K Chandrasekhara Rao today asked the partymen to gear up for early elections to Parliament and Andhra Pradesh Assembly as the Congress-led UPA government ''was intending to go for early polls''.

Speaking at a meeting organised by the TRS Youth Wing at the party office here, Mr Rao predicted early polls and said the UPA government was intending early polls both at the Centre and the state, which would be held any time before March 2008.

The TRS would not have link with any political party in the next elections, he said and claimed the party would win more than 60 seats in Telangana and emerge as a ''strong political force'' in future.

Both the Congress and the TDP were ''Telangana betrayer parties'', the TRS leader charged.

Mr Rao said dedicated TRS workers would be given an opportunity to contest in the next elections.
