Chennai, Sep 24 (UNI) Ten DMK men, including a ward secretary, were arrested by the police in connection with yesterday's attack on the offices of BJP and Hindu Munnani office.
While four were arrested in connection with the attack on BJP office in T Nagar, six others were arrested for the attack on Munnani office at Chintadripet area.
Acting on a complaint, Mambalam police registered a case and arrested Ravi (35), Vijayakumar (30), Murugan (30) and Manikandan (32).
Similarly, another case was registered at Chintadripet Police station and six people, includingh DMK ward-79 secretary Sai Kumar (35) and ward-81 representative Murugesan (54), were arrested.
The attack took place yesterday, in protest agaisnt the ''fatwa'' issued by a former BJP MP and VHP leader Ram Vilas Vedanti against Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for his remarks critical of Lord Ram.
