National College to use grant for lab modernisation

Tiruchirapalli, Sep 24 (UNI) The Department of Science and Technology (DST) of the Union Government has sanctioned Rs 40 lakh as grant to the National College here for modernising the Chemistry Department's laboratory, according to its Principal K Anbarasu.

Talking to the press here, Mr Anbarasu said the three-day silver jubilee celebration of the Zoology Department would be inauguarated on September 26 by State Transport Minister K N Nehru.

The celebrations include special lectures, seminars and competitions, he said.
