Kathmandu, Sept 24: Maoist Chairman Prachanda today hinted at the postponement of Constituent Assembly polls, in absence a new agreement among the eight-party coalition in Nepal.
Mr Prachanda said that his party could join the government if a new cabinet is constituted with new agreements.
Talking to reporters in the capital, Prachanda ruled out the withdrawal of his ministers' resignations till the current leadership in the government continues.
He added that bilateral and multilateral talks are being held on 22-point demands including declaring Nepal a republic, a proportional electoral system and PLA merger in Nepal Army, among others and the issues will be addressed in a day or two.
The Maoists quit the eight-party coalition government on Tuesday and announced a nationwide stir to thwart the Constituent Assembly polls scheduled for November 22.
