Ayodhya, Sep 24 (UNI) Bharatiya Akhada Parishad president and Hanumangarhi Mahant Gyandas today flayed Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for passing ''unholy'' comments about Lord Ram.
''The TN CM has hurt the religious sentiments of crores of Hindus by commenting on Lord Ram, the icon of the community,'' the Mahant said.
Lambasting Karunanidhi for using ''indecent'' language for the Lord, Gyandas suggested him to go through the holy text 'Ramayan.' The Mahant criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) for misleading people of Ayodhya in the name of the Ram temple.
Gyandas further said ''the Ramsethu should not be demolished, as it is associated with the faith of crores of Hindus.'' UNI
