3-member CPI delegation leaves for Vietnam

New Delhi, Sep 24 (UNI) A three-member delegation of the CPI left today for Vietnam on an eight-day visit at the invitation of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

According to a CPI release here today, the CPI delegation was led by party General Secretary A B Bardhan.

The delegation would visit some of the important centres in Vietnam and interact with central and provincial leaders of the Vietnamese Communist Party including its general Secretary Nong Due Manh.

The delegation would study the specifics of socialist construction in Vietnam and the prospects of strengthening the economic, cultural and political ties between the two countries and the people, the release added.
