Two youths killed, one injured in motorbike-tractor collision

Sonepat, Sep 23 (UNI) Two youths died on the spot and another was seriously injured when their motorcycle had a head-on collision with a tractor-trolly near village Roshanpur on Bega road here today.

While the injured Sunil of village Budhanpur has been admitted in a private hospital at Panipat, the bodies of the victims identified as Satinder and Rajesh of village Bega, were taken to local civil hospital for postmortem.

The police have seized the Tractor-trolly and registered a case against the owner who was absconding.

The victims were reportedly on their way to Ganaur on a motorcycle when the accident occurred.

In another accident in the area, one farmer identified as Ram Singh of Kumashpur village, died on the spot and 15 others were injured when a canter loaded with vegetables on GT road near Rai after its front wheel tyre burst.

The victims were sitting on the vegetable bundles in the canter on way to Azadpur Subji Mandi from village Kumashpur and Kishora.

The injured were admitted in local civil hospital by Highway patrol police.
