Chennai, Sep 23 (UNI) AIADMK Supremo J Jayalalithaa today sought the immediate dismissal of the DMK Government in Tamil Nadu for acting in an ''anti-constitutional'' manner and attacking the offices of the BJP, VHP and Hindu Munnani in the wake of a VHP leader issuing a 'fatwa' against Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for questioning the existence of Lord Rama.

Terming the regime in the state ''Jungle Raj'', she condemned the attacks in a statement issued here and alleged that the law and order situation in the state was deteriorating.

Alleging that the violence was perpetrated by the ruling partymen in connivance with the police, she said the atrocities and criminal activities committted by the DMK cadre were more dangerous than those of the terrorist forces threatening the nation.

Ms Jayalalithaa held Mr Karunanidhi and his 'one-upmanship attitude' responsible for the controversy over the existence of Lord Rama and said any criticism to such comments should be countered only in a democratic manner and not through violent methods. ''It is saddening that the Chief Minister, who is entrusted with maintaining law and order, has not kept this in mind.'' She accused DMK Treasurer and Electricity Minister Arcot N Veerasamy of issuing statements which incited violence.
