Family thrilled on girl child's birth after 40 years

Fatehgarh Sahib, Sep 23 (UNI) Though district Fatehgarh Sahib has earned the dubious distinction of lowest sex ratio in the country, a family here is celebrating the birth of a girl, born in the family after 40 years.

The Infant's grandfather Rattan Singh Benipal said they had fervently prayed to God to bless the family with a girl child and finally their prayers were answered in form of to his his grand-child Manvir.

He said that his son Kamalpreet Singh Benipal and his wife Aman were blessed with Manvir and he felt that after 40-long-years his family was complete.

The newborn's grand mother Kamalpreet Kaur said she would like to see Manvir become a doctor to serve the humanity.

She said that they had named the newly born girl Manvir after the name of an eminent doctor of the region.

Relatives of Benipal family are thronging in to congratulate the family.
