Fatehgarh Sahib, Sep 23 (UNI) State BSP chief Avtar Singh Karimpuri has said the party unit would launch a massive agitation against the SAD (B)-BJP government for its 'anti-people policies'.
While addressing a protest rally at Bassi Pathana today, Karimpuri claimed that the Congress, SAD and the BJP were trying to create hatred among the people in the name of religion.
He alleged that the people of Punjab were suffering badly for over a decade due to this.
He said the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)-BJP alliance government in the state had deceived the poor by purchasing their votes and luring them with slogans like the 'atta-dal scheme'. Now the real needy were not getting the benefit of the scheme, he said.
He alleged that the combine had backtracked from all their poll promises.
He claimed that the BSP would play an important role during the coming Parliament elections.
