Suzuki to introduce 150 CC bike next year

Vijayawada, Sep 22: Automobile giant Suzuki Motorcycles India Pvt Limited (SMIPL) will roll out a 150 CC motor bike to the Indian market in February 2008.

Talking to newspersons here today company Head Dealer Prashant Agarwal said the indigenously-manufactured vehicle was designed to suit the youngsters.

He said the recently launched "Access 125 CC" scooter had 95 per cent indigenously developed components.

Mr Agarwal, who earlier opened the company's exclusive showroom here said Suzuki developed 'value packed products' globally to cater various market segments and changing lifestyles.

The 'Heat and Zeus' motorcycles, launched recently were targeted to provide the Indian consumers a "new feel" in the commuter market category.

'Heat' was aimed at regular bike riders, who opted for a robust and reliable product, while 'Zeus' targeted youngsters and executives, he said.
