New Delhi, Sept 22 (UNI) More than a year after serving out a five-year ban by the BCCI for alleged involvement in match fixing scandal, former India medium pacer Manoj Prabhakar was today appointed Delhi senior team bowling consultant.
The appointment of Prabhakar was cleared by DDCA Senior Advisory Committee.
Prabhakar, who played 39 Tests and 130 ODIs for India between 1984 and 1996, was slapped a five year ban by BCCI in 2000 which he completed in April last year.
Meanwhile, DDCA Senior Advisory Committee has also decided to include Anuradha Dutt as coordinator cum selector for women senior and junior selection committees for the season 2007-08, a DDCA statement said.
