Indian cricket team is doing well without foreign coach: Pawar

By Staff

Mumbai, Sep 22 (UNI) Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) President Sharad Pawar today said the Indian cricket team was doing well even without a foreign coach.

''Our boys have defeated South Africa, England, Pakistan even without a foreign coach which means that the present team is doing well,'' said Mr Pawar while talking to reporters here.

''Our performance is quite good and today I received a call from Indian cricket coach Lalchand Rajput and captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and their confidence was quite high and they are sure of winning the World Cup by collective effort,'' said Mr Pawar.

India take on Australia in the semi-final of Twenty-20 World Cup tonight.
