Vadodara, Sep 21 (UNI) A two-member team of Election Commission officials visiting the city to oversee preparations ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in Gujarat, today said they had received no complaints from voters against the district administration as far as the voters' list was concerned.

''There is absolutely no complaint from any quarters, including the NGOs and the 2002 riot victims, and preparations for the polls are on in right direction,'' team member J K Rao told newsmen before leaving for Delhi this evening.

Mr Rao, who arrived here yesterday along with S K Sabrawal to take stock of the elections preparations, had a series of meetings with district collector Rajeev Topno and other senior officials.

''We also met members of different NGOs and visited several slums and colonies of the minority community members those displaced following the 2002 Gujarat riots,'' he said.

Expressing hope that the administration would issue voters' ID cards and complete all preparatory works much ahead of the schedule, Mr Rao said they would submit their report to the Election Commission on reaching Delhi.
