Hisar, Sep 21 (UNI) With a view to provide qualitative and time bound service to the consumers, the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has decided to provide computerised customer care service at it's all the operation sub-divisions in phased manner.
A spokesman of the Nigam said here today that in the first phase, computerised customer care services would be provided in urban areas and then at all the rural sub-divisions.
DHBVN had fixed norms for creating computerised sub-divisions to be named as Customer Care Centres (CCC). According to the norms, a CCC would be framed with minimum number of connections at thirty thousand and after thirty five thousand connections, a new CCC would be created, he said The spokesman further said that the Nigam would also create Revenue Protection Sub-divisions. Main functions of the Revenue Protection Sub-divisions would be checking of theft of electricity and recovery of arrears from defaulter consumers. These sub-divisions would also play a role of watch dog on meter reading staff and analysis of discrepancies in consumer consumption patterns.
