Udupi, Sept 20 (UNI) Janata Dal (Secular) Karnataka President Mirajuddin Patel today hinted that transfer of power to coalition partner Bharatiya Janata Party may not be a smooth affair.
Talking to newsmen here at Karkala in the district he said that transfer of power may not be a smooth affair 'till the last moment'.
There was still 12 days left and anything might happen even during the last 24 hours, he said without elaborating.
He said that former Prime Minister and Party supremo H D Deve Gowda would have to sit with BJP leaders and discuss about Common Minimum Programme (CMP) and its implementation without any deviation.
Mr Patel was here to campagin for his party candidates contesting in the September 28 urban local body.
