New Delhi, Sep 20 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today said Sufi Kalam has given a new dimension to the devotional music.
Releasing 'Karvan', a melodious musical album by talented singer Kanak Chaturvedi, containing different kinds of songs and styles of rendition of compositions based on folklore of Allah, devotional music to pop art form, Ms Dikshit said the Sufi music had also strengthened the relationship between India and Pakistan.
Ms Dikshit said 'Karvan', which has been produced by KS Music, would provide an opportunity to listen and enjoy different genre of composition and music based on Indian folk arts and tradition.
Present at the launch of the album were anchor and TV Artist Abhinav Chaturvedi and a huge gathering of music lovers.
The Album is a result of painstaking efforts and years of devotion to singing by Ms Kanak, who has over the years been giving live performances on prestigious platforms and occasions such as Taj Mahotsav.
