J&K host National Wrestling championship in Srinagar from tomorrow

Srinagar, Sep 20 (UNI) More than 600 wrestlers from different parts of the country will participate in the three-day 26th National junior boys and ninth National Wrestling Championship commencing here from tomorrow.

Jammu and Kashmir sports minister Babu Ram said 600 wrestlers (400 boys and 200 female) from different parts of the country have arrived here to take part in the championship.

The championship will be free style, Greco-Roman style, he said adding the championship will not only be an opportunity for the participants to see the beauty of Kashmir valley but for the local people here to witness the oldest sports.
