Four people remarried their wives in MP to obtain govt funds
Bhopal, Sep 20 (UNI) Four people admitted before Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today that they had re-married their wives for obtaining financial benefits under a government scheme which provides assistance for marriages of girls from poor families of all sections of society.
Mr Chouhan said he could not control his laughter when four people admitted that they had re-married their wives under the 'Kanyadan Yojana' for want of funds.
Mr Chouhan had received information about some people fraudulently obtaining benefits of the scheme.
These people were called and were asked the reason for doing so.
