Death toll reached 23 in terai violence
Kathmandu, Sep 20 (UNI) The death toll due to the violence in southern Nepal has reached 23 after eight more bodies were found this morning.
According to local television, police recovered eight more bodies from Devinagar of Bishanpura VDC of Kapilvast district this morning.
''The death toll may go up as many people are reported missing,'' Kantipur FM radio said, quoting a local adding that at least 30 people are still missing.
The viloence in the southern part of Nepal started after the murder of former Chairman of anti-Maoist group Mohid Khan at Birpur village on Sunday. Curfew was on in the district since sunday.
