BSF jawan commits suicide in Meghalaya
Shillong, Sep 20 (UNI) A Border Security Force jawan today allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in a BSF camp in West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya.
Head Constable Satyawan of the 21st Battalion shot himself with his service rifle at the BSF base camp in Hallidiganj, police told UNI here over phone from Tura.
However, BSF authorities at Assam and Meghalaya Frontier headquarters here said they were investigating whether today's incident was a case of suicide or a murder.
